“120 Bahadur”: Weekend Box Office Collection – See How Profitable the First Weekend Was

according to the  http://www.pinkvilla.com

Despite a slow start at the box office, 120 Bahadur managed a modestly profitable first weekend. After a lukewarm opening, the film’s collections showed some growth over the weekend.

The weekend gains pushed the total box office into double digits. With an opening of ₹2.25 crore, the film earned ₹3.85 crore on Saturday and ₹4 crore on Sunday. Compared to the first day, collections improved slightly on the second and third days. However, Monday saw a drop, with earnings falling to ₹1.4 crore. So far, the total box office collection stands at ₹11.54 crore.

The film’s opening fell short of expectations. The makers had anticipated an opening of around ₹8 crore, but the turnout in theatres was relatively modest. Monday’s drop also indicates that the film may struggle to achieve a major box office milestone. Directed by Farhan Akhtar, this war drama is based on the 1962 India-China war.

Story of the Film

After several years, Farhan Akhtar returns to the big screen in a war drama, portraying a powerful army officer. He plays Major Shaitan Singh, based on a real-life military hero. The story revolves around the Battle of Rezang La, one of the most significant events of the 1962 Indo-China war.

120 Bahadur tells the true story of 120 soldiers from the Charlie Company of the 13 Kumaon Regiment of the Indian Army. In the freezing, high-altitude terrain of Ladakh, these brave soldiers fought valiantly against a massive Chinese force of 3,000 troops, creating a tale of courage and sacrifice. Watching this story unfold on the big screen promises to be an inspiring experience.
