Traditionally, this award show is held at international locations, but this year, in celebration of its 25th anniversary, the IIFA was held in India. The event was grandly organized in the traditional city of Jaipur, marking its Silver Jubilee.
At this year’s IIFA, the film Lapata Ladies directed by Kiran Rao stood out, winning a total of 10 awards in various categories. Additionally, this award ceremony was especially significant for Kartik Aaryan, who won the Best Actor award for his role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Sholay, a special tribute was given to Amitabh Bachchan’s iconic film.
