Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited Telugu film Hari Hara Veera Mallu is finally ready for release. This action-packed historical epic is scheduled to hit theatres on June 12, 2025. Once believed to be at risk of cancellation, the film is now complete and ready for its grand debut.

The film, starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, was officially announced way back in January 2020. However, the production faced several challenges along the way. Principal photography began in September 2020, with most of the shooting taking place in Hyderabad across multiple schedules. The project saw repeated delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Pawan Kalyan’s active political commitments.

Initially directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the later parts of the film were handled by A. M. Jyothi Krishna under Krish’s supervision. The music for the film is composed by M. M. Keeravani, known for his work on major Indian blockbusters.

The film boasts an impressive star cast alongside Pawan Kalyan, including Nora Fatehi, Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Nargis Fakhri.

Set against the backdrop of the 17th-century Mughal Empire, Hari Hara Veera Mallu tells the story of a fearless and legendary outlaw named Veera Mallu. The narrative follows his bold exploits, including an audacious attempt to steal the famed Koh-i-Noor diamond from the Mughals. The film promises a rich visual experience that recreates the grandeur of the Mughal era, immersing viewers in a world of power, rebellion, and heroism.

Due to its elaborate historical setting and visual scale, the film is being produced on a massive budget of ₹200 crore. It will be released in two parts, with the first installment hitting screens next month.

There is a gap of nearly five years between the film’s official announcement and its actual release. Now, as the release date draws closer, excitement is building among fans eager to witness this long-awaited cinematic spectacle.
