according to the http://www.pinkvilla.com
Tanvi the Great, directed by veteran actor Anupam Kher in his directorial debut, has struggled at the box office, earning only ₹2 crore after a week in theatres. Released on 18th July, the film has failed to attract audiences and is currently performing poorly, especially in comparison to Saiyaraa, which is dominating the box office.
Despite its emotional narrative and meaningful theme, Tanvi the Great could not sustain momentum and appears to be heading toward a box office flop.
Box Office Breakdown (First 8 Days):
-
Day 1: ₹0.40 crore
-
Day 2: ₹0.55 crore
-
Day 3: ₹0.65 crore
-
Day 4: ₹0.12 crore
-
Day 5: ₹0.11 crore
-
Day 6: ₹0.08 crore
-
Day 7: ₹0.06 crore
-

With a total collection of approximately ₹2 crore, the film has fallen far short of expectations, especially considering its estimated budget of ₹50 crore. Anupam Kher had previously shared that he invested significant personal funds and even took loans to make this film. Unfortunately, its poor box office performance has resulted in major financial losses for the veteran actor-director.
