Bobby Deol recently worked under the direction of Aryan Khan for the web series ‘Badshahs of Bollywood’. Speaking about his experience, Bobby shared some interesting insights into Aryan’s working style and approach to filmmaking.
Bobby said, “Aryan is a debutant director, and that’s exactly why he had a strong desire to prove himself. He was always focused on ensuring that whatever he did should be excellent. He was constantly chasing perfection. Only when he felt the shot was completely satisfactory would he move on to the next scene. Until he achieved that, he wouldn’t let any actor wrap up.”

Bobby further added, “‘Badshahs of Bollywood’ marks Aryan’s directorial debut. Being the son of a superstar like Shah Rukh Khan and having grown up in a film-oriented environment, there were naturally high expectations from him to deliver something unique and impactful.”
“Directing is never easy—especially when it comes to web shows. Handling multiple actors, managing various scenes, and extracting the best performances from the cast is no small task. But Aryan has the qualities of a great director. His work ethic is rooted in persistence and determination,” Bobby noted.

Sharing more about his experience, Bobby said, “I’ve worked on several projects, so I can easily tell how clear a director is about their vision. After working with Aryan, it was immediately evident to me that he’s capable of creating high-quality content.”
“When I got a call from Red Chillies Entertainment saying Aryan Khan is directing ‘Badshahs of Bollywood’ and there’s a role for me, I agreed even before hearing the script. But Aryan still gave me a detailed narration that lasted almost 7 hours! I was deeply impressed by the way he presented the story. That’s when I instantly knew I had to be part of the project,” Bobby concluded.
