Director Anurag Kashyap has taken a significant decision regarding his action crime drama ‘Nishanachi 2’. Instead of releasing the film in theaters, it will directly premiere on an OTT platform. The movie will soon be available to audiences digitally.
First Part Flops at Theaters—Second Part Goes Straight to Digital
Around two months ago, on 19th September, the first part of the film was released in cinemas. However, it failed to perform well at the box office. As a result, the second part will now stream directly on OTT.
Anurag Kashyap has partnered with Amazon Prime Video for this release, and ‘Nishanachi 2’ will be available on the platform from 17th November.
Due to the lukewarm response to the first part, the second part is being released digitally sooner than expected. OTT audiences will now be able to enjoy both parts on the same platform.
