according to the http://www.pinkvilla.com
Farhan Akhtar’s “120 Bahadur” has had a slow start at the box office. The film was expected to open with at least ₹8 crore, but its first-day collection remained below ₹5 crore.
The film, scheduled for release on 21 November, had created considerable excitement among the audience. After two days of paid previews, the movie was finally released worldwide on Friday. However, it failed to deliver the strong first-day box office performance that was expected. Trade analysts had predicted an opening of around ₹5 crore.
Released with much fanfare on Friday, the film managed to collect ₹2.25 crore on its opening day. Considering the buzz surrounding the movie, it was widely expected to cross the ₹5 crore mark on day one. On the second day as well, the film maintained a similar pace and, at the time of writing this article, had earned ₹1.62 crore. The makers are hopeful that the film will at least cross ₹5 crore over its first weekend.
