Salman Khan’s upcoming film Battle of Galwan has reportedly earned massive revenue before its theatrical release. The film has already turned highly profitable, with the pre-release deal estimated to be around ₹300 crore.

Record-Breaking Digital Deal with Jio Studios
A strong example of Salman’s star value is the grand digital deal for Battle of Galwan. Jio Studios has signed the agreement and acquired the film’s digital, satellite, and music rights.
This deal is estimated at ₹350 crore, making it one of the most expensive deals in Indian cinema history.
Neither Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan nor Aamir Khan’s Dangal had received such high-value deals. This clearly shows the immense faith that studios continue to have in Salman Khan’s audience pull. However, the deal is strategic in nature and partly depends on the film’s theatrical performance.
Deal Structure Depends on Box Office Performance
The base price of the deal is set at ₹325 crore. If the film performs well at the box office, the deal value may increase. If the film underperforms, the amount could be reduced.
If Battle of Galwan manages to collect between ₹100–200 crore, Jio Studios will pay the makers additional money. If it collects less, deductions will be made accordingly. Considering that even Salman’s average or underperforming films cross the ₹100-crore mark, this deal is expected to be highly profitable.
