Story and Characters
Directed by Aanand L. Rai, the film features Dhanush as an Air Force officer, while Kriti Sanon plays a stylish, modern city girl. What begins as a light-hearted romance gradually takes an emotional turn.
Dhanush once again delivers a performance reminiscent of his intense lover image from Raanjhanaa, though this time he portrays a more fiery and passionate young man. His character, Shankar, is a hot-tempered city youth who falls deeply in love with a beautiful girl from the city. Their small arguments, playful banter, and gradually blossoming bond keep the audience engaged in the first half.
However, when Shankar realizes that the girl isn’t equally serious about their relationship, his emotional turmoil begins. Their strained relationship eventually leads Shankar to join the Air Force. Later, the girl understands the true value of his love and sets out to find him. The film promises to offer viewers a heartfelt and emotional cinematic experience.
