Recently, Vicky Kaushal was honoured by NDTV for his outstanding performance in the film Chhaava. During the award ceremony, he was asked about the perception that patriotic films follow a repetitive formula. Responding with confidence and pride, Vicky clearly expressed his views on the subject.
“Patriotism Is Not a Formula,” Says Vicky Kaushal

“Patriotism is not a formula. Calling it a formula is, in a way, an insult to our country. Patriotism is part of our identity. Through cinema, sports, and literature, we will continue to express it. These mediums help us show how deeply we love the diversity of our nation.”

The film is expected to soon surpass Chhaava, which is currently Vicky Kaushal’s most successful film of the year. Looking ahead, Vicky Kaushal will be seen in an upcoming period romantic drama directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Titled Love and War, the film will feature Vicky alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Additionally, he has signed another project with Maddock Films.
