The very first day of shooting was filled with energy and lighthearted moments. Photos show the trio—Akshay, Saif, and Priyadarshan—relaxing and having fun at the shooting location. In one image, Akshay is seen holding the film’s clapboard, while Priyadarshan appears in a video explaining the meaning behind the film’s title, Haivan.
Akshay wore a quirky T-shirt that read “Sant” (Saint), to which Priyadarshan humorously remarked, “Saif should be the one wearing this!”
Unique Roles in ‘Haivan’
Haivan is an action-thriller where Akshay Kumar plays a dark and intense villain, while Saif Ali Khan portrays a visually impaired protagonist. The film is a Hindi remake of the 2016 Malayalam hit Oppam, in which Mohanlal played a blind man wrongly accused of murder who uses his heightened senses to hunt the real killer.
The Hindi version will closely follow the original’s narrative, with Saif taking on the challenging role of the blind lead, and Akshay stepping into a rare negative character.
