Recently, Rajamouli and his team revisited ‘Baahubali: The Epic’, a special edition combining Baahubali 1 and Baahubali 2 into a single cinematic experience. During promotional discussions for this edition, Rajamouli surprised fans further by announcing the animated version of Baahubali.

“Baahubali: The Eternal War” – A Grand 3D Animated Film

Rajamouli clarified, “This is not Baahubali 3, but a standalone animated story titled ‘Baahubali: The Eternal War.’” The film will be presented in 3D animation with a budget of approximately ₹120 crore. He also confirmed that the animation is being produced by the same studio behind the acclaimed series ‘Arcane’, ensuring a world-class visual experience for viewers.

Baahubali 3 Is Still on the Way

Rajamouli also confirmed that Baahubali 3 will eventually be made. However, the current focus remains on promoting the animated project, ‘The Eternal War’. While no official release date has been announced yet, the film is reportedly near completion.
