Salman Khan’s upcoming untitled film based on the Galwan Valley incident has entered the pre-production phase at full speed. While Salman Khan has already been confirmed for the lead role, the rest of the cast is yet to be finalized. The makers are now beginning the casting process and are approaching various actors for key roles.

According to a new report by Bollywood Hungama, actor Saqib Saleem is being considered for an important army role in the film. The makers are planning to conduct a look test with him soon, after which his casting will be confirmed. Saqib has previously acted in several films and web series, and he could now be seen sharing screen space with Salman Khan.

Following the underwhelming performance of Sikandar, Salman Khan has wasted no time and shifted focus to this new project. For the first time in his career, he will be seen playing the role of an army officer — Colonel B. Santosh Babu, the Indian Army officer who lost his life in the Galwan Valley clash. This will be the first film where Salman will be seen in an army uniform.

This war film, based on the Galwan Valley conflict, is expected to blend intense war sequences with strong patriotic themes. Alongside Salman, a major star cast is also being considered. The film will be directed by Apoorva Lakhia, who is currently working on finalizing a powerful cast to match Salman’s presence on screen.

One of the major upcoming releases is Border 2, starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahaan Shetty. This film is based on the India-Pakistan war and will carry strong themes of patriotism and action. Another is 120 Bahadur, a war film by Farhan Akhtar, which is based on the India-China war.
