Preparations have officially begun for Atlee Kumar’s ambitious big-scale project A6. Alongside the pre-production phase, the film’s casting is in full swing. Joining previously confirmed stars Janhvi Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur, Deepika Padukone has now been added to the cast, turning A6 into a multi-female star film.

A6 to Feature a Strong Multi-Female Lead Ensemble

A6, headlined by South superstar Allu Arjun, is now shaping up as a multi-starrer. While Allu Arjun plays the male lead, the film features three pivotal female roles. Janhvi Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur were already finalized for two of these roles, and now Deepika Padukone has been cast in the third. This marks Deepika’s second Tamil film, following the high-budget sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD.

Interestingly, all the female leads in A6 are top Bollywood actresses, despite the film being made in Tamil. This cross-industry casting brings together the South and Hindi film industries in a unique blend. All three actresses—Janhvi, Mrunal, and Deepika—have previously worked in South Indian films, strengthening their pan-India appeal.
