Recent reports claimed that actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh had been dropped from the upcoming war drama Border 2, but those rumors have now been debunked. According to fresh updates, the film’s makers have confirmed that Diljit is still very much part of the project.
Official Clarification from the Makers
The buzz began when several media outlets reported that Diljit Dosanjh was removed from Border 2 following controversy surrounding his collaboration with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in another project. Amid rising speculation, it was also rumored that FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) had imposed a ban on Diljit’s participation in Hindi films, further fueling talk of his exit from Border 2.
However, India Today reports that FWICE President B. N. Tiwari confirmed they had met with producer Bhushan Kumar twice, who assured them that Diljit had already completed filming all his scenes for Border 2. Given the advanced stage of production, removing him was no longer a practical option.

No Future Collaborations, But ‘Border 2’ Remains Untouched
Though Diljit Dosanjh will remain in Border 2, Bhushan Kumar has reportedly promised FWICE that he will not collaborate with the actor on future projects. FWICE has requested that the industry refrain from casting Diljit going forward due to the controversy.
In Border 2, Diljit Dosanjh stars alongside Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, and Sunny Deol. Recently, Varun shared behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot, including one in which he and Ahan appear in army uniforms, covered in mud—symbolizing love for the soil and patriotism.
