Housefull 5 Teaser Removed from YouTube After Release — Here’s Why
The teaser of Housefull 5, the much-awaited multi-starrer led by Akshay Kumar, was briefly released on YouTube but was taken down shortly after. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Housefull 5 is said to be a big-budget comedy-drama with a murder mystery twist, set aboard a luxury cruise.
Why Was the Teaser Removed?
The teaser, which offered the first glimpse of the film including clips from the “Laal Pari” song, was released on April 30 to mark the 15-year anniversary of the franchise’s first film. However, due to copyright violations and confusion caused by the circulation of fake teasers and trailers on various YouTube channels, the original teaser was removed.
The official teaser had initially been uploaded on the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment YouTube channel. Prior to its release, multiple unofficial channels had uploaded fake trailers for Housefull 5, adding to the confusion. Only T-Series had officially released the “Laal” song from the movie, which has already garnered over 40 million views.

A Comedy Murder Mystery Aboard a Cruise
Unlike the earlier films in the franchise, Housefull 5 blends its signature comedy with a murder mystery plot. The story unfolds on a cruise where a murder takes place, and every character becomes a suspect. Two of the stars take on the roles of police officers who try to solve the case.
While Hollywood has seen many murder mysteries set on cruises, most of them are serious thrillers. Housefull 5, however, will offer a humorous spin on the genre, sticking to its roots in comedy.
