However, she has never featured in a full-fledged horror or horror-comedy film. But that’s about to change, as she may soon be seen exploring this genre for the first time.
According to a special report by Deccan Chronicle, Kareena has been offered a horror drama film in which she will play the role of a female ghost. The story has been penned by Hussain Dalal, who wrote the dialogues for Brahmastra: Part One. While the official announcement is still pending, sources suggest that a young actor, around 20 years old, may be cast opposite Kareena.

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor recently wrapped up the shoot of her upcoming film Daayra, a crime drama where she stars opposite South superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Junglee Pictures. Daayra explores complex themes of justice and truth in a morally ambiguous society. It has been co-written by Meghna Gulzar, Yash, and Sima, and is currently in pre-production.
