“Films that spread hatred cannot be ignored. Just as the first film presented false claims and pushed a communal agenda, there is once again an attempt to damage the secular image of our state. It is important to stand united against efforts to target our peaceful state.”

The film has been directed by Kamakya Narayan and is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 27. Similar to the first installment, the sequel focuses on the controversial subject of so-called “love jihad.”
