Kartik Aaryan’s upcoming romantic film Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri has landed in legal trouble. The makers have reportedly received a legal notice for allegedly using the music beat of the popular song “Saat Samundar” without authorization.
The film’s teaser was released recently, and soon after, the controversy began. A portion of the teaser features the beat of the 1992 chartbuster “Saat Samundar” from the film Vishwatma. Following this, the original film’s director-producer Rajiv Rai has taken legal action against Dharma Productions, claiming copyright infringement.
Rajiv Rai revealed that the film’s first promo had surfaced in 2024 itself, and at that time too, the issue was noticed. He had already considered legal proceedings back then, but the makers allegedly did not respond seriously.

Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri is a romantic love-story drama featuring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday in the lead roles.
