South Indian actress Meenakshi Chaudhary is all set to make her Hindi film debut with the upcoming comedy-drama Bhagam Bhag 2. Known for her impressive performances in Tamil and Telugu cinema, Meenakshi is now gearing up to enter Bollywood with this much-anticipated sequel.
A Sequel Nearly Two Decades Later
The original Bhagam Bhag, released in 2006, was a blockbuster comedy directed by Priyadarshan, featuring Akshay Kumar, Govinda, and Paresh Rawal in lead roles.
Now, almost 20 years later, the makers are bringing back the magic with Bhagam Bhag 2. Reportedly, Akshay Kumar may reprise his role, while Meenakshi Chaudhary has been cast as the female lead in the sequel.
Meenakshi Was Earlier Signed for Force 2
According to reports, Meenakshi was earlier set to make her Hindi debut with Force 2. However, due to date clashes and differences over remuneration, she opted out of the project.
Now, she is officially stepping into Bollywood with Bhagam Bhag 2, which will serve as her first major Hindi release.
From South Indian Hits to Bollywood Entry
Meenakshi Chaudhary is one of the most promising actresses in the Tamil and Telugu industries. Her filmography includes several successful films such as Lucky Bhaskar, Mechanic Rocky, Matka, Guntur Kaaram, Kolai, HIT, and Khiladi.

After completing these projects, Priyadarshan is expected to begin work on Bhagam Bhag 2. Production is likely to commence by 2027.
