Paresh Rawal Responds Alongside Suniel Shetty

The controversy surrounding Hera Pheri 3 continues to escalate. Although the film was officially announced, issues arose after veteran actor Paresh Rawal exited the project, reportedly due to disagreements with Akshay Kumar’s production house. All three main cast members have expressed differing opinions about his departure, and Paresh Rawal himself shared his explanation on social media.

The dispute truly began when Akshay Kumar’s production team sent a legal notice to Paresh Rawal, demanding compensation for financial losses  to his withdrawal. In response, Paresh Rawal’s legal team has come forward to defend the actor.

What Paresh Rawal’s Lawyer Said

In an interview with Inside News Source (INS), Paresh Rawal’s lawyer, Amit Nayak, said:
“They neither shared the story nor the script with our client, nor did they send any formal agreement – all of which are essential before beginning work and within his legal rights. Moreover, original producer Firoz Nadiadwala also sent a legal notice to our client, raising questions about the legitimacy of the film’s production. Due to all these issues, Paresh Rawal decided to step away from the film and returned the payment along with interest.”

Speaking about the compensation claim, the lawyer added:
“First they take the money back, then send a legal notice. When no script or agreement was in place, how can there be any financial damage?”

According to some reports, Firoz Nadiadwala has also sent legal notices to Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and director Priyadarshan, claiming that he still holds the original rights to the Hera Pheri franchise.

With these legal and creative conflicts, Hera Pheri 3 has become entangled in a major controversy, and restarting the project now seems like a significant challenge for Akshay Kumar.
