Prabhas’ Horror-Comedy Film Raja Saheb Crosses ₹200 Crore at the Worldwide Box Office
according to the http://www.pinkvilla.com
Prabhas’ horror-comedy film Raja Saheb may not have delivered an exceptional performance at the box office, but it has successfully crossed the ₹200 crore mark worldwide.
After a strong opening, Raja Saheb witnessed a quick slowdown in theatres. However, the film’s entry into the ₹200 crore club makes it Prabhas’ sixth film to achieve this milestone. With this achievement, Prabhas has become the first Telugu actor to have six films cross the ₹200 crore mark worldwide.

Strong Opening, Sharp Drop After the Weekend
The film opened with an impressive ₹53.85 crore, performing well during its opening weekend. However, collections dropped significantly after the weekend. Despite being a horror-comedy, the film failed to provide engaging entertainment for audiences, resulting in a sharp decline in earnings from Monday onwards, with collections falling into single digits.
First Week Box Office Collection
On the seventh day, Raja Saheb earned ₹5.5 crore, completing its first week with a total collection of ₹130 crore. After the first week, the downward trend continued. On the eighth, ninth, and tenth days, the film collected ₹3.5 crore, ₹3 crore, and ₹2.6 crore respectively. This brought the total India box office collection to ₹139 crore.
Overseas Performance Pushes Worldwide Total to ₹200 Crore
Along with its nearly ₹140 crore domestic earnings, the film performed reasonably well in overseas markets. Backed by Prabhas’ strong global fan following, Raja Saheb earned approximately ₹60 crore overseas, taking its total worldwide box office collection to ₹200 crore.
Although the film’s content has not been particularly impressive, Prabhas’ popularity in both domestic and international markets helped the film reach a respectable total.

Audience Response and Declining Collections
Despite being positioned as a horror-comedy, audience word-of-mouth suggests that the film’s storyline lacks grip and fails to keep viewers engaged. As a result, box office collections have continued to decline. Within just ten days, the film lost momentum, with audiences showing a limited response.
Cast, Director, and OTT Release Update
Directed by Maruthi, Raja Saheb features an ensemble cast including Prabhas, Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Zarina Wahab, Boman Irani, Samuthirakani, Brahmanandam, and Yogi Babu. The film is expected to stream on an OTT platform soon.
