According to a Pinkvilla report, Raj & DK met Salman Khan and gave him a short narration of the project. Salman reportedly liked the basic idea of the film, though he has not yet given his official approval. A final decision is expected soon.
The report further suggests that the film will be a Hindi remake of the Korean movie A Hard Day.
The Project Was Initially Offered to Shah Rukh Khan
Before approaching Salman Khan, Raj & DK had reportedly taken this project to Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh showed interest in the story, and his production house Red Chillies Entertainment had even acquired the Hindi remake rights. However, due to scheduling constraints, Shah Rukh could not move forward with the film. He is currently busy with King and plans to take a long break afterward, which led the filmmakers to approach Salman Khan.
