Producer Namit Malhotra confirmed that this decision was taken at the request of Ranbir Kapoor himself, out of respect for the situation. Malhotra also mentioned that the 3D version of the teaser has already received a ‘U’ certificate from the CBFC. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has praised the film, stating that he was amazed by the quality of the project.
With the teaser postponed, the new release date remains unconfirmed. Ramayan, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is one of the most significant and ambitious films currently in production.
