‘Sikandar’, starring Salman Khan, has turned out to be one of the biggest flops of his career. The failure of the film has significantly affected Salman’s stardom. Despite being a mega-budget project, the film failed to impress audiences, and now a major update regarding its piracy has emerged.
Released during Eid 2024, ‘Sikandar’ was expected to entertain fans with its action-packed narrative. However, the film disappointed viewers and faced severe trolling for its dull storyline. The movie managed to collect only ₹110 crore domestically.
Now, the film’s makers have claimed that piracy played a major role in its financial losses. According to the makers, the film was leaked on several websites shortly after release and widely circulated online. An internal audit was conducted, and the report confirmed that piracy caused significant damage, resulting in losses worth ₹91 crore.
