Renowned filmmaker Anees Bazmee is all set to bring back the magic of comedy with the sequel to his hit film No Entry. However, this time, the film will feature a completely fresh star cast. None of the original actors — not even Salman Khan or Anil Kapoor — will return for the second installment.

Fresh Faces in No Entry Mein Entry

The sequel, titled No Entry Mein Entry, is currently in its pre-production stage and will feature a new lead trio: Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Arjun Kapoor. Alongside them, the female leads are also being finalized, although no official names have been confirmed yet.

Why the Original Cast Is Missing?

Fans and media have repeatedly questioned Bazmee on why the iconic trio — Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan — won’t be returning. In the original 2005 film, Salman played Prem, a cheeky, flirtatious character, while Anil and Fardeen were known for their impeccable comic timing. Despite their popularity, none of these characters will be featured in the sequel.

Anees Bazmee’s Clarification

Responding to the speculation, Anees Bazmee shared:

“Even I used to wonder — how can we make No Entry without Salman or Anil? I actually wanted Fardeen Khan back too. I called him, and he asked for 3-4 months to prepare. He even sent me a fitness photo that genuinely impressed me. But every film has its own destiny. No matter how much we plan, fate plays its part.”

“I do feel bad that we couldn’t include the original cast, but given the circumstances, we did what we had to.”

How Different Will the Sequel Be?

When asked how No Entry Mein Entry will differ from the original, Bazmee explained:

“When I was writing the first No Entry, I laughed so much that if someone had walked into the room, they’d think I’d gone mad. But while writing the sequel, I laughed even harder. Over the past 20 years, I’ve matured — especially when it comes to relationships and marriage. I truly believe this will be a grand, high-impact comedy.”

A Quick Look Back at the 2005 Blockbuster

Released in 2005, No Entry followed the story of three married men bored with their monotonous married life who end up having extra-marital affairs. The comic chaos that ensues from their lies and secrets was a big hit with the audience. The film was praised for its hilarious plot, energetic performances, and memorable music — making it a box office success.

What to Expect from the Sequel

With a completely new star cast and Anees Bazmee’s signature comic storytelling, fans are curious to see how No Entry Mein Entry will live up to the original. Will this fresh take recreate the same magic? We’ll have to wait and see.
