Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey has commenced filming in Colombo for his next major project—a biopic titled “White”, portraying the life of spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The film is currently in full swing, with extensive outdoor shoots underway to capture key moments of Ravi Shankar’s spiritual journey.

Following the box office disappointment of Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan, Vikrant Massey is now fully immersed in a challenging role that marks a significant milestone in his career. He will be seen embodying Ravi Shankar, portraying pivotal phases of his life—from his early years to the moment he embraced spirituality. The biopic highlights his global peace efforts, including his instrumental role in brokering peace in war-torn Colombia, which is currently being filmed on location.

Produced jointly by Siddharth Anand and Mahavir Jain, and directed by Manto Bassi, White has seen a year-long pre-production phase and is now entering its crucial filming stage. The outdoor sequences are being shot in Colombo, while remaining portions of the biopic will be filmed in studio locations in Mumbai.
