The shoot for Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film “De De Pyaar De 2” has been completed, and the first official trailer is set to be launched soon. This time, alongside Devgn, R. Madhavan will also be seen in a lead role.
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the filming is wrapped up, and the makers have officially announced October 14 as the trailer launch date. The trailer will be released exactly one month ahead of the film’s theatrical release.
Grand Trailer Launch Event Planned
The trailer launch event is expected to be a grand affair, with the film’s entire star cast present. Returning from the first installment are Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, and Tabu, and joining them for the sequel is R. Madhavan, who was not part of the original cast. In the second part, Madhavan plays a pivotal role, and his presence at the launch is anticipated to grab special attention. The event will be held in Delhi and Mumbai.
The Story Continues
Released in 2019, “De De Pyaar De” was a Hindi-language romantic comedy film starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Rakul Preet Singh. Directed by Akiv Ali, the story revolved around a 50-year-old divorced NRI named Ashish, who falls in love with a woman half his age, Ayesha. The plot thickens when he takes her to India to meet his estranged family, leading to a series of humorous and chaotic events.
The sequel picks up the story from where the first part ended. This time, R. Madhavan plays the role of Ayesha’s father (Rakul Preet Singh’s character). He strongly disapproves of his daughter’s relationship with Ashish, primarily due to the significant age gap between the two. The central conflict of the film revolves around this opposition, setting the stage for emotional and comedic moments alike.
