Akshay Kumar’s much-anticipated film Welcome to the Jungle has hit yet another roadblock. According to reports, the film’s shoot has been halted once again. This marks the third time in the past six months that production has been stopped, reportedly due to ongoing financial problems.
Originally announced in 2023, the makers had stated at the time of the announcement that the film would release during Christmas 2024. However, due to repeated setbacks, the planned release date now appears increasingly uncertain. The main hurdle, as per sources, continues to be financial constraints.
Reports suggest that only 60% of the film’s shoot has been completed, with the remaining 40% facing serious delays due to budgetary issues. Like Housefull 5, this film also features an ensemble cast of over 25 actors. Coordinating schedules for such a large cast has proven to be difficult, as many of them are busy with other projects, leading to frequent date clashes.
Because of this, the film’s shoot schedule has been canceled three times over the past six months, causing confusion among the actors and production team. Actors had already allocated dates to producer Firoz Nadiadwala, but last-minute cancellations have become common due to logistical and financial challenges. As a result, many actors are left sitting idle on committed dates.
