Alongside the Hindi version starring Ajay Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar, the South version featuring Mohanlal is also set to begin shooting in October. In it, Mohanlal is seen collaborating once again with director Jeethu Joseph, confirming their partnership for this highly anticipated project.
The Drishyam franchise has been a massive success in both Bollywood and South Indian cinema. According to a Pinkvilla report, Ajay Devgn is set to begin shooting for Drishyam 3 from October 2, 2025. His dates are already locked, and the producers plan to begin the film’s shoot on Gandhi Jayanti, a date that holds symbolic value for the franchise. The film will be shot at real locations across Maharashtra as well as on studio sets.
