According to exclusive updates, Deepika will continue her acting career while simultaneously taking on the role of a producer. This move marks her first major solo production venture in Bollywood. Until now, Deepika has been known solely for her work in front of the camera, but now she’s expanding her influence behind the scenes as well.
Interestingly, she follows in the footsteps of fellow actress Alia Bhatt, who launched her own production house last year.
A Hindi Remake of Hollywood Film ‘The Intern’
The film Deepika is producing is reportedly a Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood film The Intern. In this project, Deepika will serve only as a producer and will not act in the film.
According to reports by Mid-Day, Amitabh Bachchan is set to play the lead role in the remake. Deepika and Amitabh previously shared screen space in Piku, but in this project, Deepika will remain behind the camera.
