Many fans may not know this, but superstar Hrithik Roshan was originally offered roles in two cult classics — Dil Chahta Hai and 3 Idiots, both of which later starred Aamir Khan. Surprisingly, Hrithik turned down both films, and fans are often left wondering why.
Why Hrithik Said No to These Iconic Films
Hrithik Roshan, who is known for being highly selective with his projects, revealed in a recent interview that he was offered Aamir Khan’s roles in both Dil Chahta Hai and 3 Idiots. He declined them, saying:
“I was offered the roles Aamir sir eventually played. But honestly, he was the right choice for both films. Every film has its own destiny, and Aamir did a phenomenal job, turning them into cult classics.”
This revelation came during his international press tour for his upcoming film War 2, while in Sri Lanka. When asked if he regrets rejecting any films, Hrithik candidly shared this insight.
