She was born on January 8, 1990, in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. She completed her schooling in Jabalpur and later earned a B.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
Acting Was Never the Plan
In a special interview, Sanvikaa revealed that acting was never on her mind while growing up. Her entry into the entertainment industry happened accidentally. During her third year of engineering, she began to feel disinterested in academics. By the final year, she was sure she didn’t want to continue in that field.
Initially, she thought about working in the travel and tourism industry, which would allow her to earn while traveling. But destiny had other plans.
Journey to Mumbai and Struggles in the Industry
Through mutual friends already working in the film industry, she got a job as a costume assistant, and that’s when her journey to Mumbai began.
Sanvikaa shared that she did several small jobs in the beginning just to get by. She also appeared in a few ads, although the roles were minimal, and sometimes her scenes were even edited out. However, she took it all in stride and never expected too much from the industry early on.
Her costume assistant job provided some stability, but alongside it, she began auditioning for acting roles. Over time, she started landing minor roles, and her interest in acting grew—especially seeing that actors earned more than many other crew members. This pushed her to give more auditions, and she even worked once at Yash Raj Studios, where her small part earned great appreciation.

Breakthrough with Panchayat
Eventually, she landed a role in Panchayat. In Season 1, her appearance was a small cameo. Sanvikaa says she didn’t expect much from the role. However, by Season 2, her character gained screen time, and she received a strong audience response.
Her portrayal of Rinki became a fan favorite. Now, in Panchayat Season 3 and the upcoming Season 4, the chemistry between Rinki and Secretary Ji (Abhishek) is one of the biggest attractions for viewers.
Supportive Family and Humble Background
Sanvikaa comes from a simple, middle-class family, and her rise to stardom was unexpected—even to her. But throughout her journey, her mother remained supportive. Sanvikaa shared that her mother used to tell her, “Do what you want. If nothing works out, we’re still here for you.” This gave her the freedom to take risks and follow her passion.
