According to them, many soldiers from the Yadav community were martyred in the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 Sino-Indian war. They believe the film should honor their sacrifice by using their names and reflecting their identity in the title.
“If our demands are not met, the protests will intensify on September 26,” warned the protestors.

‘120 Bahadur’ is based on the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 war between India and China. In this battle, under the leadership of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, just 120 Indian soldiers bravely fought against a much larger Chinese force of over 3,000 soldiers.
